The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - Season Premier

The magnificent ladies of Beverly Hills are BACK and I couldn't be happier!  After a season of madness in New Jersey, I'm looking forward to a change in zip code and demeanor.  Sure, this season will have it's drama (after all, that's Bravo's middle name!) but I'm very hopeful that all they've been through, these women will approach each other with a different perspective.  Who knows, I could be completely wrong!!

As is customary at the start of every "Housewives" season on Me, Myself and Jen, I'm going to cover a few housekeeping items first.  For those of you who are new to our blog and recaps - WELCOME!  There are a lot of places to get your Housewives info, and I'm thrilled you stopped by!  I will usually post a full recap of the week's episode within a day or two of airing.  I always strive to remain positive, constructive and objective as possible, and I do occasionally share my opinion on the situations that are shown in each episode.  I encourage anyone that would like to leave comments or questions regarding the episodes or recaps to remain the same - positive and constructive.  We don't all have to agree, but here we do have to be nice.  One last note - please sign your name to your comments.  They will not be posted otherwise.  Now on to the show!

This week, given the delay in my recap due to Marshmallow Brain, I'll just post some highlights from the episode.  Next week tune in for a full-blown recap, Beverly Hills style!

* When is Lisa Vanderpump's home decorating book coming out?  Her taste is IMPECCABLE!  The new house is stunning, and her closet is the thing that dreams are made of.  I seriously think it may be the size of my house!  Lisa and Adrienne are still at war from the accusations at the reunion.  Lisa is still really upset by it, but Adrienne seems to have moved on.

* Adrienne Maloof and her husband Paul are still together as the season starts (although we know ow their story is ending).

* We meet Yolanda, a former model currently married to famed music producer David Foster.  She is a mother of 3 children - ages 12, 15 and 17.  Lisa knows her as her close friend Mohammed's ex-wife, and says she is a forced to be reckoned with.

* Kim Richards has been home from rehab a month when shooting began.  She has been spending more time with her sister Kathy instead of Kyle.  Kathy was helping her daughter, Kimberly, pick out a prom dress.  She and Kyle are still having a hard time since rehab.  Hopefully they can work it out constructively.

* Kyle Richards is still as stunningly beautiful as ever.  And so is her yummy husband, Mauricio.  He brought her home a Maserati with a bow on it?  What a sweet ride!  Kyle's daughters are growing so fast!! And Portia is totally adorable!  She called Lisa to invite her to her birthday party, and it was a little awkward because Lisa was with Brandi.  Clearly things aren't 100% yet.

* Taylor is trying to start a new chapter in her life, and meet Adrienne for a little shopping.  She looks pretty good, all things considered.

* Villa Blanca was decked out for it's 3rd anniversary. All of the ladies were in attendance, and everyone meets / reconnects with Yolanda.  Kim and Yolanda seemed to get along well.  Kyle looked stunning in pink!    Adrienne (whom Lisa deliberately didn't invite) sent a GIGANTIC arrangement of flowers to the party with a private note.  It was a very odd looking arrangement, and the card (when read out loud) seemed genuine enough.  But the conspiracy theories started!

THIS SEASON:  The ladies go to Paris, Camille returns and stirs the pot, Kim has a nose job, Suzanne Somers stops by, Lisa and Ken renew their vows, there's lots of fighting, and Lisa's old house goes up in flames, along with the Maloof marriage.

*  Just an FYI, I have not been compensated in any way for this blog post.  I am sharing this recap and my thoughts on it from the perspective of a viewer / fan of the BravoTV show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills".  I hope you enjoy it and I welcome your comments!
