Clothes Attic'd Boutique Anniversary Bash

Last Thursday, I attended the Ladies Night Out / Anniversary Bash held at the Clothes Attic'd Resale & Restyle Consignment Boutique celebrating their two years in business.  Located at 605 E. Ogden Avenue in Naperville, Clothes Attic'd is the largest resale / consignment boutique in town.  With over 1300 consigners that sell beautiful items including jewelry, handbags, shoes, hair accessories, and all types of ladies clothing, the store is constantly full of new and exciting items.  Between 75-100 new items are put out EVERY DAY!

The two-story space is bright, excellently organized, and full of girly charm that oozes off of everything from the crystals hanging from the ceiling to the hot pink and zebra striped accents.  Owner Jennifer Micek and her staff are charming, extremely knowledgeable about fashion and very helpful!  With a table full of yummy sangria, sweet treats from Heavenly Creations-Sinfully Delicious, massages available from Advanced Physicians Group, and additional jewelry available from Kristin Olsen with Stella & Dot, it was a wonderful atmosphere to get your shopping on!

I personally found two STUNNING designer dresses and an awesome necklace all for under $50 total!  In addition, 20% of this special nights proceeds went to help the family of a local child that was diagnosed with leukemia, so not only was it a great night of fun but it was fun with a big heart.  If you know Jennifer Micek at all, that describes her perfectly!

Clothes Attic'd started with two goals in mind - first to help local women sell their clothing and accessories they no longer needed to make money during these difficult economic times.  And second to help women restyle their wardrobe without having to spend too much money.  Both have been accomplished beautifully in this great boutique! Consignors have a choice whether they want their clothing that did not sell returned to them or donated to a local charity (an option that most women choose).

If this local gem isn't on your must-shop-at list of boutiques, it should be!  They are open Tuesday through Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-5pm.  Fore more information on how to become a consignor, check out their website at http://www.clothesatticd.com/ and follow owner Jennifer Micek on Twitter at https://twitter.com/#!/ClothesAtticd
